Accessory Report

We like to think of accessories as the adjectives in the story of an outfit.

A pair of jeans and a white t-shirt might not communicate much, but just add an intricate pair of sandals or an armful of bangles and suddenly you can see an entire point of view. It’s no wonder why we’re obsessed with accessories of all shapes and sizes; their transformative power is truly amazing. On that note, we’re delighted to give you an additional dose of bags, baubles, and beautiful sandals in today’s Accessory Report.

1. Heech ($89) Shoe lovers, it’s time to rejoice, because your search for a must-have pair of gladiator sandals is finally over. Follow Nicky Hilton’s lead (she has them in black) and get a pair of Heech wedges to wear with your floral maxi dresses.

2. Patent Leather Large Tote ($200) This gorgeous roomy tote is sophisticated and practical—you could easily stash your laptop inside—two qualities we enjoy in a bag. The cherry red patent is beautifully bright, but the tote also comes in black and white if you’d prefer a basic color.

3. Jewellite ($69.99-$89) Summer calls for festive shoes and these strappy, high-heeled sandals satisfy that requirement. Balance the shoe’s bold shades with a pair of navy cropped pants and a crisp white tank for seasonally spirited look.

4. Raven ($69) These flat thong sandals are super versatile thanks to the simple silhouette. Wear them with a pair of cutoffs for a casual day outfit or pair them with a skirt and some bold accessories for a dressier look. Shown above in bark, they’re also available in black, emerald, and fuchsia.

5. Hammer ($79) If you’ve been wondering what to wear with your safari-inspired styles and neutral outfits, these sandals might be your solution. These croc-embossed leather t-strap heels would look sharp with anything khaki.

6. Block Party Bracelet ($95) This bright multi-colored bangle is almost as much fun as the similarly named band. The wide cuff makes a statement and reminds us of some similarly shaped bracelets on the Chanel and Cavalli spring runways.

7. Over and Out Clutch ($59) It’s time to diversify your bag wardrobe by picking up this mushroom-colored clutch with gathered detailing. Wear the neutral bag with a simple black sheath dress for a Calvin Klein-inspired, chic minimalist vibe.

8. Rossinis ($79) Whether you go for the metallic version in gold reptile or prefer the brown multicolor option, these embellished sandals will add a touch of boho style to any outfit.

9. Honeypie ($79) Everyone needs a great pair of wedges to wear with their wide leg pants. While wedges can look clunky, the skinny straps on this pair give the shoe a feminine touch. Plus, the pale gold leather is softly neutral, so they’ll work with anything.
